Chicago Tribune: Bush Didn't Lie
The Chicago Tribune performs a thorough analysis of the Bush Administration's case for war against Iraq and concludes that Bush did not attempt to mislead the country.
Yes, yes, beneficial but that's just an opinion, sure.
Except that it hasn't been shown that the assertions being made weren't true; it's been shown that they largely were true, and where they weren't, there was a lot of room for honest disagreement about interpretation.
Perhaps you don't find the reasons for the Iraq war plausible; I do. The conflict is between your opinion of what I should think and what I've stated, not between what I do think and what I've stated.
